Augusta, Ga. – A quilt honoring Georgia soldiers who were killed in action from October 2001 through April 2011 will be on display in the lobby of the Reese Library at Augusta State University.
The Georgia Soldiers Memorial Quilt, created by Yadira Payne, government information librarian in ASU’s Reese Library, and ASU student Tristan Nall, consists of 190, 4-inch x 6-inch American flags pinned together to represent each individual life lost.
