Augusta, Ga. – The campus at Augusta State University will be charged with excitement, fun, food, and games as new and returning students are welcomed to ASU for the fall semester. Beginning Monday, Aug. 17, the annual Week of Welcome will kick-off with What’s the Scoop? from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Jaguar Student Activities Center Breezeway with students learning about student and campus organizations and making ice cream sundaes. The summer break is almost over, and the fall semester is quickly approaching. So to make sure all new and returning Augusta State University students start the year off right, the ASU staff, faculty, and alumni are inviting all to participate in the Week of Welcome activities.
The fun will begin on Saturday, Aug. 16, with a Foam Party at the University Village. This will give students a chance to wash away those end-of-summer blues. Read the full story
