Dr. Kim Davies, chair of the Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Social Work, and author of The Murder Book, will have her class demonstrate the number of homicide victims in America Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 7 p.m. in 326 University Hall.  Students will contribute a penny for each 16,491 victims; later, the money will be donated to a charity that works to deter murder.
