Augusta State nursing students will be put to the test as they receive trauma training in these areas on Friday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m.-noon in University Hall at ASU. The training, which will include mock victims, will be held in rooms 220, 221, 224, and 242. All pre-nursing students, registered nurses pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or anyone interested in nursing is encouraged to attend. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet faculty and current students, ask questions, and learn more about the new Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at ASU.

The pinning ceremony will end with the traditional recitation of the Nightingale Pledge—an oath vowing that they will dedicate themselves to the nursing profession.
