Augusta, Ga. – Guest artist Sandra Trujillo will present Churros Locos during her solo exhibition in the Mary S. Byrd Art Gallery in Washington Hall at Augusta State University. Trujillo will give a talk on Thursday, Aug. 26, at 3:30 p.m. in 170 University Hall, which will be followed by a reception from 5-6:30 p.m. in the gallery. Augusta, Ga.- ROTC cadets who have completed their degree requirements for graduation at Augusta State University will receive their commissions into the United States Army at a Commissioning ceremony on Friday, May 7, at 6 p.m. in the D. Augusta, Ga. – Augusta State University will honor men and women who have served in the armed forces at its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at the D. Douglas Barnard, Jr., Amphitheatre. Following the program, ASU’ s ROTC cadets will place American flags on the graves of fallen soldiers buried in the Arsenal Cemetery. Read the full story

Augusta, Ga. – The Academy for Learning, a new initiative to enhance teaching and learning at Augusta State, will present its first program for the spring semester with a presentation by Marguerite Koepke, Professor Emerita at the University of Georgia (UGA), on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 2:30 p.m. in the Jaguar Student Activities Center Butler Meeting Room.
