Augusta, Ga.— The Augusta State University Conservatory ensemble Sand Hills String Band will use music to raise money to support a charity that helps people who have visual disabilities.

Augusta, Ga. – Augusta State’s student publication, The Bell Ringer, won a record-breaking 13 awards at the Georgia College Press Association (GCPA) conference held recently in Athens.

Augusta, Ga. – “No areas for improvement” was the finding of the examiners from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) who completed their review of the College of Education at Augusta State University on February 7.
“This is a phenomenal achievement for the College of Education and the university. The leadership team for the College of Education has done a remarkable job by not only meeting the NCATE standards, but exceeding them.
