The A Day for Augusta State University annual fund drive will begin with an A Day Volunteer Breakfast on Monday, Aug. 11; but the actual campus campaign will kick off on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the Fall Convocation at 8:15 a.m. in the Grover C. Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre. Augusta, GA—The Knox Foundation has made a major gift to Augusta State University, announced President William A. Bloodworth, Jr., today at a news conference in the James M. Hull College of Business at Augusta State. The $2 million gift—the first major gift to ASU from the Knox Foundation—will support the accountancy program in the Hull College.
