Reese Library awards Kids University Scholarships
Reese Library’s Inreach Committee awarded ASU Kids University Scholarships to four deserving children in the community. Recipients were carefully selected by Paulette Harris, Literacy Center director and Cree-Walker Endowed Chair in the Department of Educational Leadership, Counseling, and Special Education, for their commitment to learning and ties to the ASU community.
The library hosted a reception to honor the children and presented each scholarship recipient with a prize package of school supplies and summer essentials.
Scholarship funds are raised annually through internal fundraisers by the staff members in the Reese Library, Media Services, and Curriculum Center.
