New and returning faculty and staff will be welcomed at the university’s annual Fall Convocation on Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 8:15 a.m. in the D. Douglas Barnard, Jr., Amphitheatre. Highlighting the event will be the State of the University address from President William A. Bloodworth, Jr.
New faculty members will be introduced as well as administrators who have assumed new roles this year. The event also includes the campus kick-off of the A Day for Augusta State University annual fund drive. Following the hour-long program, a reception will follow in The Grove where veteran members of the ASU community have the opportunity to meet and welcome new faculty and staff.
