Augusta State University’s Alumni Association held its annual dinner and awards program on Feb. 12 in St. Paul’s River Room. While the season’s first snowfall fell outside, the alumni association recognized some of the institution’s outstanding alumni and friends.

Bloodworth, Jr., who received the Golden Key Award; Mr. Clint Bryant, director of ASU’s Office of Athletics, the Town and Gown Award; Club Car, the Distinguished Service Award; and Mr. M. David Alalof, the Distinguished Alumnus Award.
The association also presented its slate of officers and directors for 2010-2012, which includes Jennifer Hilliard, ’01 and ’06, president; Scott Argo,’04 and ‘08, immediate past president; Laura Tilt, ’00 and ’05, secretary and treasurer; Catherine Nigg, ’03 and ’04, vice president for university relations; Sherry Moore, ’94, vice president for awards; and Christopher Baxter, ’05, vice president for social. The alumni association is expected to select a vice president for public relations at their board meeting later this month to replace Ms. Hilliard, who formerly served in that position.
