Craig Albert, political science, recently received his doctoral degree from the University of Connecticut.

Jurgen Brauer, Hull College, gave a talk in November at the Universidad Autonoma de Bucaramanga in Colombia on macroeconomic consequences of armed violence. Dr. Brauer writes a monthly column, which may be viewed at http://www.aug.edu/~sbajmb/

Lillian Wan, Reese Library, was honored by the Shepeard Community Blood Center for donating her 26th gallon of blood. Her photo was also placed on the side of the new bloodmobile, The Blood Vessel.
