Augusta State’s Jessica Howard was named to the Peach Belt Conference’s preseason all-conference team, according to an announcement from the league office. The nine-member preseason volleyball All-Conference team was selected by the league’s head coaches and represents six of the eight volleyball-playing schools in the conference.

The Augusta State women’s cross country squad has earned a No. 3 preseason regional ranking, according to a recent release from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The Jaguars, beginning their sixth season under head coach Adam Ward, were voted third in the NCAA Southeast Region preseason poll behind Lees-McRae and Columbus State.

ASU’s Feb. 13 Homecoming matchup with Peach Belt Conference newcomer Montevallo in Christenberry Field House will be televised live as part of an eight-game regular-season men’s and women’s basketball package with CBS College Sports Network. The game is one of 15 home dates for the men’s team.
