Georgia Dozier, a member of the custodial staff, has been named the Physical Plant Employee of the Second Quarter. Ms. Dozier has just celebrated her 21-year anniversary at ASU, having begun work here in August of 1988. Over the years she has had responsibilities in several buildings on campus and currently is assigned to University Hall.
“Georgia is a hardworking lady who deserves this honor,” says Brenda Murray, supervisor of custodial services. “She is a quiet and very sweet person.”
Outside of work, Ms. Dozier stays busy with several hobbies, such as traveling with her church, shopping, and cooking, to name a few. She has two sons, 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, all of whom play an important role in her life.
Ms. Dozier was chosen for the award from more than 90 Physical Plant employees.
