Momix, known internationally for its spectacular blend of physical theatre, riveting music, athleticism, dance, and comedy, will present Best of Momix on Friday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Maxwell Theatre as part of the university’s annual Lyceum Series.
The group has performed in over 22 countries and been featured on stage, screen, and television throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Momix was also featured in IMAGINE, one of the first IMAX films in 3-D. Moses Pendleton, the company’s artistic director, choreographer, and founder, conjures up a world of surrealistic images using props, light, shadow, humor, and the human body to create an entertaining audience experience.
Admission is free to ASU students, faculty, and staff with a valid JagCard. General admission is $15. Although the Maxwell Theatre Box Office is closed during the holidays, online ticket purchases may be made through the theatre’s website at www.aug.ed/pat.
