Under the direction of Alison Foley, sociology, criminal justice, and social work, the Criminal Justice Club collected book bags for children in the Department of Family and Children Services system and provided Thanksgiving dinner to the police officers at the Daniel Village police depot.
Paulette Harris, educational leadership, counseling, and special education, has received the Community Foundation Grant for 2009. The grant will assist in updating the Literacy Center to become a certified “Reading Styles Inventory Diagnostic Center.”
