Holiday Closing
All offices, labs, and services of Augusta State will be closed beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, and will reopen on Monday, Jan. 5, 2009. JagCard door access will not be available until January 5th at 5 a.m., and all services, offices, and labs will reopen at 8 a.m.

Graham named Physical Plant Employee of the Quarter
Alberta
Graham has been awarded the Physical Plant Employee of the Quarter for the 4th quarter.
Mrs. Graham has worked at Augusta State University for over 30 years, and she is responsible for managing the building services employees to maintain the high standards of custodial services.
Those who have worked with Ms. Graham say she is dependable and a good example of what it is to display a positive image.
“I enjoy coming to work, it feels like I am working with family,” she says. “The students at Augusta State have always been my inspiration. They keep me going, and they help me stay healthy.”
This is not the first time Ms. Graham has won the recognition of her colleagues. In 2006, Ms. Graham received the Physical Plant Employee of the Year award, and she has worn the title of Physical Plant Employee of the Quarter four times.
“I was very surprised and happy to be chosen again,” she says about being presented with this recognition.
Ms. Graham, who is married and has three sons, enjoys playing with her animals, taking care of her plants, and spending time with her grandchildren.
