Augusta, Ga. – Movement and vocal exercise will be the focus of a masterclass presented by the Aquila Theatre Company on Thursday, Jan. 28, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in 242 Washington Hall. Augusta State students will experience the requirements and disciplines of working and performing in a physical theatre company. Students will also explore the imaginative and physical resources that the company uses in order to create its own unique theatrical style.
The masterclass precedes the theatre troupe’s performance of Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People that evening at 7 p.m. in ASU’s Maxwell Theatre. The production and masterclass are a part of ASU’s Lyceum Series. For more information, call Tunisia Williams, assistant director in ASU’s Office of Public Relations and Publications, at 706-737-1877.
