Augusta, Ga. – Dr. Rob Foster, professor in Augusta State University’s Department of Music, will present a concert in the Music at the Morris series on Sunday, Jan. 24, from 2-3 p.m. He will present the music of the shakuhachi, a Japanese bamboo flute, in traditional solo pieces, which have been passed down from Japanese Zen monks, as well as improvisations and original compositions.
