Augusta, Ga. – An increase in gas prices has some parents opting for summer family outings that are closer to home. Next week, the Literacy Center at Augusta State University will offer both a fun yet educational event at its annual Family Fun Fair on Tuesday, June 9, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. in ASU’s Maxwell Theatre.

This free event is sponsored by ASU’s Literacy Center and the Augusta Chronicle. For more information, call ASU’s Literacy Center at 706-733-7043.
