Augusta, Ga. – America is no longer the world’s leader in science and technology which makes events such as the Science Olympiad National Tournament increasingly important. On May 14, around 5,000 participants, volunteers, and family members will begin converging in Augusta to take part in the tournament at Augusta State University which ends Sunday, May 17. The opening ceremony will be held on Friday, May 15, at 6 p.m. in the James Brown Arena.
