Augusta, Ga. – The Augusta State University Orchestra and Wind Ensemble will collaborate in a performance of the William Tell Overture by Rossini and “Rhapsody in Blue” by George Gershwin on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Maxwell Theatre at ASU.

ASU professor Dr. Clara Park will be the featured concert pianist. Dr. Park has performed throughout the United States and abroad as a soloist and chamber musician.  She has also recorded for the Centaur Records label.

The ASU Wind Ensemble will be directed by Mr. Dicky Fallin and the ASU Orchestra will be directed by Dr. Martin David Jones.  Admission is $5 and free with a valid JagCard.  For more information, call ASU’s Department of Music at 706-737-1453.
