Augusta, Ga. – As Girl Scouts throughout the Central Savannah River Area are busy with their annual cookie sales, a visiting scholar from Sweden is visiting Augusta State and Augusta to learn more about the American Girl Scout program.
Bodil Formark, from Mid Sweden University and the National Graduate School of Gender Studies, will present a program while at Augusta State on The History of Girl Scouting – A Swedish Example on Thursday, March 5, at 6:30 p.m. in W1008 Science Hall. Ms. Formark is a historian of scouting in Sweden.
