Augusta, Ga. – International politics, environmental experiments, and race relations are just a few of the research topics that will be presented at the 10th Annual Student Research and Fine Arts Conference at Augusta State University.
The conference, which will be held on Wednesday, March 11, beginning at 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., is sponsored by ASU’s Chapter of the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and First Citizens. Read the full story

Augusta, Ga. – Join Dr. Hubert Van Tuyll, professor of history and chair of the Department of History, Anthropology, and Philosophy at Augusta State University, as he discusses his book, on Tuesday, Mar. 3, at 2:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Reese Library at Augusta State as part of the library’s Meet the Author series. Augusta, Ga. – In 2007, Augusta State reluctantly held its last Cullum Lecture Series, an interdisciplinary program that had begun more than 20 years ago to bring nationally and internationally known speakers to campus. However, recognizing the need for a continued collaboration to enhance academic enrichment programs, faculty members from ASU’s three colleges began efforts to develop a new, similar program. The result is a semester-long series, The Life of the Mind, which organizers say was inspired by longshoreman and philosopher Eric Hoffer. Read the full story

Augusta, Ga. – Making its way from Broadway to the stage of Augusta State University’s Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre, Oklahoma! will be presented by ASU for three shows only.
