Augusta, Ga. – The 41st season of Augusta State’s annual Lyceum Series will begin with a performance by the internationally acclaimed Silk Road Ensemble on Thursday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m. in the Maxwell Theatre at ASU as part of the city’s Westobou Festival. Silk Road Ensemble, a unique and eclectic group of international musicians have entertained sold-out crowds throughout the world and record regularly with famed cellist Yo-Yo Ma, Silk Road’s artistic director and founder.
