ASU faculty members Linda Banister and Rosalyn Floyd, music , and Lee Ann Caldwell, director of the Center for the Study of Georgia History, will participate in a symposium at the Morris Museum of Art in connection with its exhibition, Landscape of Slavery: The Plantation in American Art, on Sept. 6.
Kristin Casaletto, art, has an artwork in the exhibition National Small Works 2008 at the Washington Printmakers Gallery in Washington, D.C. She also participated in the University System’s Faculty Development Seminar in Morocco and Spain this summer and has been named to participate in the Governor’s Teaching Fellowship program for this academic year.
Cree-Walker Professor of Economics Mark Thompson, Hull College, has been selected for this year’s Leadership Augusta class. Leadership Augusta, which encourages and develops community leadership, is a project of the Metro Augusta Chamber of Commerce.
