About the authors:

Hubert van Tuyll is professor of history and chair of the Department of History, Anthropology, and Philosophy at Augusta State University. He is the author of The Netherlands and World War I: Espionage, Diplomacy, and Survival; America’s Strategic Future; and Feeding the Bear: American Aid to the Soviet Union, 1941–1945.

Jurgen Brauer is professor of economics in the James M. Hull College of Business at Augusta State University and the author of Arms Trade and Economic Development: Theory, Policy, and Cases in Arms Trade Offsets and Arming the South: The Economics of Military Expenditure, Arms Production, and Arms Trade in Developing Countries.
